By then they'll be old enough to understand that not everyone is raised as they will be raised and some parents have higher expectations for their children. I don't want them playing games/with people that will desensitize them. They won't be able to play teen or mature games until 16 either. I've seen how young kids act on games like gta and cod. I will not have my children acting like those kids.

Both are to blame. I've personally seen what a game like gta can do to a child. Parents shouldn't let young kids play that type of game but the game does have an effect on young impressionable minds.

Not really my little brother and all my younger cousins play gta and cod all the time and there's nothing wrong with them clearly the kids that you're referring to have horrible parents that don't pay attention to their kid

My kids won't play at that age. Like I said, some parents have higher expectations for their children

Haha my friends parents do the same thing funny thing is he kinda resents them for it and goes over to friends houses to play GTA cod pretty much any game so you forcing your kids to wait that long will probably hurt you in the long run

When my kids get old enough to hang out with friends the friends will have to be at my house first to see if it's a kid I want mine to be around.
