Etheric Light... Why can't I have you?
Well I've had HoW since day one and I can't get any etheric light. I don't have hardly anyone to do endgame stuff with. Except one Nightfall Strike that resulted in NO etheric light. And I havn't been able to do the harder Prison of Elders because of no matchmaking. Only the lvl 32 arena once that doesn't give etheric light. AND IT WAS SO HARD! I missed the Iron Banner because I happened to go and visit family the week before and didn't know the Iron Banner was going to come up while I was gone. The Iron Banner was the ONLY reason I made it to lvl 32 with my hunter during Dark Below. Bungie please give us an easier way to get etheric light. Or something. Their has got to be an easier way. Please someone help me!!!!

Watch videos on YouTube, post so you can get picked up on LFG, try not to die using strategies from videos. You will get used to it. That howi started doing raids. You will get used to it.

3 RepliesYour best bet is just run the 32 poe only with your 33 character with a group from lfg. Or one of the Facebook group. We're all in the same boat starting off. Iron banner will be hard unless you're a 34

Try running raids and get real guns just because your at max level doesn't mean your ready for endgame content yet bungie made it to easy for all the crybabies.

I understand why they want you to find people and make it more social, but it really just adds an extra annoying step that removes you from the game for a bit as you try to find people. I tried the lvl 32 once and was blown away by how much tougher it was! In 28, it's chaotic and fun. In 32, I constantly died after 2-3 hits. I ended up having to leave the game quickly for other reasons, but I don't think I missed much. It was basically spawn, get hit 2-3 times and die, respawn, get hit 2-3 times and die, etc. I've gotten pretty good at PvE, but that just seemed impossible. Given the lack of patience of most of the community, I don't see warm up or practice games being practical either. I've been loving this game up until now. I haven't done much PvP yet, but I think I'll start on that... or just give it a rest until the next DLC. Edit: I'm very aware you can find people here or on that other site, but I'm really not interested. If I'm playing the game, I want to play the damn game, not spend my time tracking down strangers online.

Same problem on matchmaking. I hate that they make you use the forums. I can't always use a mic either so sometimes it's nice to jump in, do business, wave, get rewards. They should match make everything

Grind IB this week. For future reference, imo level 34 is easier than 32.

I feel your pain. I haven't gotten any etheric light my self. Done poe 32 twice. Attempted 34 once. My normal group stopped playing. Part of my deal is, that i can't get on during the week. I'm on the road for work. Weekends (Saturday mainly] are the only times i get on. So it hard to do end game stuff w/o match making. Im on ps4 hit me up if need an extra body.

I've gotten 1 etheric light from a nightfall ever I have every item in my inventory upgraded and still have surplus etheric light. You just don't play the game. Go play Mario cart, go do something else. You apparently can't play destiny so just quit.
