3 RepliesDude I LOVE Destiny, it has so much potential to be a "perfect" game. BUT it is layed out for casuals and people who can afford to play more than 3h a day, like me, will finish it pretty fast. Day 1 player here and this will probably be my last week I play destiny on an everyday base. I will get ESO because I'm bored of Destiny now. Until Comet it will be ESO AND Destiny for PvP

195 RepliesDestiny has been dead for a while... look at the numbers for PoE... 378,000 people 378,000... Let's put that number in perspective, If everyone has run PoE just 2 times, that leaves 189,000 people still playing destiny. Don't give me that, "Well a lot of people play crucible too" bull or "Not everyone runs end game." I crunched numbers when they released the new crucible numbers and came to nearly the same number. If you're not doing end game I don't know what the fcuk you play for. Now, even if I separate PvE and PvP that leaves 378,000 people playing destiny. All together. All... together. That's actually giving destiny a break, I highly doubt that people playing PvE don't touch PvP and vice versa so that number is probably much lower. Let's take a deep breath and remember that there are 17 million registered accounts. 17 million 300,000 in use The game is -blam!-ing dead.

I bought ESO, but it's not going to kill destiny. I've put off spending time on ESO because I needed stuff done before trails started. Now trails has begun I will be playing that this weekend.

3 RepliesIf ESO gets their stuff together and fix login times and such,they will definitely pull players away, but it won't kill destiny. Destiny was the first definitive game for the new gen consoles. And it did amazing, despite all the bitching that goes on throughout these forums, everyone who plays, likes the game. Destiny 2 will be the only thing to kill destiny

My wife is huge into Skyrim and when I asked her if she wanted it she was completely uninterested. Witcher 3 was supposed to kill Destiny too. And sometime soon all the Halo 5 will kill Destiny threads will start. Destiny 2 will kill Destiny.

Idk who thought it was gonna do that. Eso has been out already for awhile...just on pc. Half the people who wouldve bought it on console already played it and moved on. Its a good game, but theres basically no end game.

ESO never had a chance of killing Destiny. After all, Advanced Warfare killed Destiny long ago. People said so right on this here forum. Everything we THINK we've been doing in Destiny from the time of AW's release to date has just been delusions and/or wishful thinking.

The games been out less than a week. People will flip flop between games. I do it with Destiny, Battlefield, and ESO.
