His curiosity flares when he notices his defense.
"So she is important to you. Interesting. Very interesting, she's important to you and Stormbringer and you know him as well. What's this then? A triangle of sorts."

"I- Yes.... Yes it is."

"What's with the long face? Did she swoon for Stormbringer over you?"

"Yes.... She chose him." He looks at the ground, his face softened.

"Wow. That is just cold. Especially after [i]all you have done for her.[/i] the most painful kind of betrayal is the kind where they tear out your heart even if you didn't deserve it am I right?"

"Yes, it is. But I don't hold anything against her... She chose, and it wasn't me. She has her right to her own choices and I won't hold that against her. Even if that means watching them.... Together, everyday. They grow closer and I grow more and more obsolete!" Steam starts literally rising from Ryker as he grows angry, he is hot to the touch. His hand starts glowing and the chaos mark becomes lighten up.

The man notices the mark on his hand. "Such a pain isn't it? A man like you who has lost everything and still manages to lose more. With the destruction of that ship I suppose your family could find peace. But you couldn't knowing that you tried to heal only to be lashed more. If Stormbringer was truly your friend he would have given her to you. I personally know him and he said and I quote: 'I'm not interested in love and settling down. Leave that to others.' Isn't it interesting how he broke his oath just to almost spite you in particular?"

"It is. It very much is. But he didn't do it to spite me, he's my friend. He wouldn't do that!" Cybers eyes start changing colors, from his usual nice blue to a dark brownish black.

"That's why it's betrayal. Because it comes as a surprise and from your closet friends. That's why it hurts the most. Does it hurt?"

"It does! It does! But Akron is my friend! Why would he do that!" Fire starts emanating from Rykers hands.

"Perhaps it's because he was never really your friend. Or maybe that's what all friends do here. Either way." He seemed to be urging Cyber on trying to push him to a breaking point. He was close

"No! Akron... He's- he's not my enemy! He wouldn't do that, she chose! She chose him!" Ryker started clutching his head and fell to his knees. "Argh! What is happening!"

The man chuckled and put his hand on Cyber. When he did a blast of emotions hit Cyber, particularly visions of Akron and Nikki being...close. The mark seared even more. "Don't hide it, madness is inevitable."

Ryker looks up, Jay having calmed him, the steam and fire was gone, and the mark had stopped glowing. "No."

Rykers breathing calmed and he looked up at Jay. "Jay....? What are you doing here?"

*He looked down at Ryker in a dissapointed look* I was just here genius, i leave and i felt that energy brew up inside ya *Jay sighed* I'm the only one that gets to rile you up. *He extended his hand to help Ryker up*

Ryker grabs Jays hand and hauls himself up. "Thanks Jay."

Don't get any ideas, the real reason i came was because his energy felt like Akrons. . .and i was going to kill him that's all. *Jay smirked and put his hands in his pockets*

"Well whatever your reason is thank you, you saved me from going insane, but I'm afraid you just slowed it. I was already going insane, but he was going to accelerate it multiple times over. But now I'm just going to go insane naturally.... So I guess I can enjoy my last couple days of sanity. So I guess I can say goodbye.... Unless you know of a way to reverse insanity...."

"What's the warp?" Rykers begins walking back down through the levels of his house.

The source of all chaos of course. Im not too sure entirely but it could be near Eidolon. . .

Ryker comes back in the roof, wanting to continue the conversation. "Can I even survive in there? Can humans even go in it?"
