Never understood the love of fallout. The original was cool but the concept and battle system grew old fast

It's vastly different since the original
-
So the VATS system has been removed? Wouldn't play it otherwise
-
You don't need to use VATs

Fallout would be a good game if they completely overhauled the battle system. It ok saying that it's about the lore and exploration, but if you are going to have fights you need a fun and challenging battle system, otherwise I'll just read a book instead.

Never mind orange7 has enlighten me on the subject. Fallout isn't meant to be.a great fps where the game shines is in the lore. All the crazy and neat people you meet. The stories you uncover and the places you discover IMO anyways it's about the adventure
-
Originals didn't have vats
-
yes it did, that's how you'd attack.
-
I'll go double check but I swear it was turn based but then again it was over a decade ago

Edited by Wubs ♥: 6/2/2015 5:28:16 PMIt was, but it still has the V.A.T.S. system that shows attack consumption and percentages.
-
Your right I stand corrected but that's still quite different from what the vat system is now. Did I hear you right the next fallout won't have it?
-
The next game should have it, if it stays true to its roots like 3/NV. I do hope they make it so it doesn't completely stop time though.
