These guys are awesome... (Trials of Osiris)
I just completed my very first Flawless run of the Trials of Osiris less than an hour ago on my Warlock. Hadn't had any success recruiting randoms, so I post a thread on the forums begging for help from Flawless players.
A lot of random jerks gave me the usual "git gud scrub" BS, but a few guys actually said they were willing to help... and the one I ended up with? Turns out he and his friend have completed Flawless runs of the Trials of Osiris over a dozen times. Basically, after they did it on all of their characters, they went on to helping other players to complete flawless runs of the Trials; in fact, I think they went straight to helping another player right after they finished with me.
I don't know about you, but I think that is AWESOME, and incredibly selfless that these guys would spend their whole weekend just helping other players to beat Trials of Osiris. I'd give a proper shout-out to them, but there's that rule about not posting other player's gamertags on the forums...
Kudos to my new friends for helping me out. Couldn't have done it without you boys.

A lot of clans are doing this esp on twitch streams. Awesome that they help us scrubs into getting into Valhalla :)

2 RepliesOther than cheeses and annoying people who brag, there was always a handful of people willing to carry a slightly lower lvl through the Raids. I even helped carry a lvl 31 through a lvl 32 Arena. It's always nice to know that there are some people that are willing to help. Trials of Osiris should be no different.

5 RepliesSo because you weren't good enough to win on your own, you had to cry and beg other players to carry you through just because you wanted something in a video game. How do you feel about yourself? Makes the loot just that much less special. Do something for yourself for once; this is just more proof that PvP takes 10x more skill than PvE.

This is no different than raiders talking through people who aren't up to standard, good on them. I bet you picked up some tips by just playing with them, to get better play with better people is what i was told in halo days. 😆 Nothing wrong with this 😉

I saw a thread in one of the groups i follow. It read: Need 1 more for trials of osiris, flawless 9-0 is 100% guaranteed. Thats the rare good side of the community i really enjoy seeing.

This is pretty awesome. Also seeing a bunch of threads for people helping others out. I personally have no desire to do ToO at all, but faith in the Bungie community is restored.
