So is anyone else a little upset that anyone can just hop in, level up to 20 and buy some vendor gear to reach level 32? Don't even need to grind for shards. Basically people can play the game for 20 hours and be level 32. I'm calling bull crap.
Edit 1: my biggest complaint, that most of you don't seem to understand is that bungie/Activision are literally throwing day one customers down the drain.
Edit 2: I'm not a Christmas noob... been playing since day one...
Edit 3: I didn't realize so many people in this community were okay with hand outs.
Edit 4: shout out to flesh twinkii for fighting the good fight.
Edit 5: extremely dissapointaed in this community.

Edited by MrFox: 5/21/2015 6:55:38 PMSoooo. This logic was also in WoW when I played. All the "day one"/vanilla players hated that new people didn't have to grind raids for gear once they hit 60, 70, 80, etc. It was dumb then its dumb now. How can you keep a game alive if new people don't keep coming in? Why would they if they need to grind through the game and 2 expansions before even getting gear that might let them match make PoE? So dumb...

You must be some sort of sadist. I would not wish that grind on my worst enemy!
-
the upside. is that you. a lvl 32, can reach it first. it still takes a long time to grind from zero. they will have shit weapons and prob unable to be decent in endgame content, and will not have very many mats to reroll stuff. who gives a crap about 32 anymore anyways. really

I feel both sides, im glad i didnt need to re level my exotics but max light was too easy
-
2 RepliesYour also forgetting something moron you can only get 100 marks a week thats at least 3 weeks of game time 2 if you grind crucible as well but you also have to be lv 2 in vangaurd and crucible so yeah im sure you can get that in 1 day not

Love it

No, I'm not upset, because I'm not a little bitch. Sincerely, a day one player.

Edited by The_Donn5: 5/21/2015 4:39:15 PMDude I feel you. But fact is, if it bothers you don't play it. We all have a choice.

34 is max level

1 ReplyFor a player who just starts though, it'll take a while before they have the reputation and marks to buy all that gear.
-
1 ReplyI wouldn't say they screwed us, but some sort of long term reward for long term players would be nice.

I kind of agree, it is way too easy to get anything now. I think it took me a few months to get my first 32 on Xbox One. I recently switched over to PS4 and bought Destiny on Friday last week. It took me 17 hours to reach level 32 playing over a few days and I've already got a boatload of legendary gear just from playing Crucible and Dragon Strikes.
-
You are disappointed in the community because they don't agree with you. Honestly I don't want to help my new friends that are just getting destiny grind through Crota and vault of glass over and over And over again until they are 32s so that I can finally play the new content with them that I have been waiting for. I want to play HoW. I don't want to have to help new players through old shit that I have already grinded.
-
It doesn't matter because we go up to 34
-
I understand your frustration but there are still plenty of benefits to be a day 1 player.
-
Not a problem no need to get all red faced son dang it your gonna give yourself indigestion
-
You do da math?
-
They did the same thing with tdb expansion. You could come in level to 20 buy vendor gear and be 31. That is just how they do it. When comet hits in September they will probably do the same thing.

2 RepliesEdited by Sanctus Michael: 5/21/2015 5:25:55 PMI couldn't care less. If it bothers you, when bungie releases Destiny 2, wait a year after release then get it. No? Want to play sooner? Then accept it. The earlier you started the game, the more you had to work. It's LIFE... The earlier you were born (1700, 1800, 1900) the harder you had to work. LIFE!! Get over it.
