This is absolutely insanely op. One shot melee? You have to activate sunsinger to get that yet this class gets it for free? A grenade that is another classes super? A melee with a freeze that 100% guarantees a victory in melee range? Ridiculous

  • The one shot melee is designed for PVE. The fact that you lose hp and it has a slow recharge means it wouldn't be viable The grenade is part of the zone control build. It wouldn't last long and would be easy to break, but would work to make small cover or to survive a missile ow whatever. And yes, the freeze would give victory in melee range, but no more than the scorch shield or backstab. You would have to learn to adapt fast is all. And when I make the titan and hunter ones, they will be just as strong.

  • So you are saying you'd make a ridiculously over powered subclass for all classes thus rendering the original two moot and killing different play styles? A one shot melee, even losing 25% of your health, is ridiculously viable in pvp. Jump in, one shot, jump/sprint to cover. Any time you see a single opponent first you have a guaranteed kill. And at least with flame shield, they have a chance to kill you instead of being frozen. And back stab is hard to pull off consistently. A 1 second freeze just for landing a melee is stupid levels of OP that require no skill to capitalize on. And you just listed a bunch of reasons why that grenade is op. It would block a void bomb as well

  • Look, I understand that it's strong. But I'm trying to make it viable for PVE too. That's the issue with bladedancers. The bubble shield is only good for one strong attack. So a missile, sure. A nova, sure. But if the nova is a vortex one, which it probably will be, or its a shatter one, it'll annihilate the warlock. And it means you have no offensive grenade, so that means you can't just lob it into a room and clear them out. As for the two melees, sacrifice I can still defend. It's got an insane charge time. You know how long melee takes to recharge? Double that. That's how long. No one wants to run around PVP with no melee for that long. Sure you get one kill but it's not that worth it. As for flash of fear, in a PVP brawl if you get the first blow, you'll win anyway. This just means you can't get shotgun blasted. And it makes up for the slow melee strike speed The entire purpose of this subclass is to mainly dominate melee range. More often than not you'll be annihilated by shotguns. Even if you can beat them, snipers will be untouchable by you. As for other subclasses, of course the other subclasses will be viable. Sunsinger is still a grenade lobbing tank. Voidwalker can still clear a zone in an instant. They're viable in their own way, this just adds a cqc subclass into the mix.
