Didn't bungie claim that Crota End's raid drops would be an improvement over vog drops?
They did and no one can deny it,i feel like it was bullshit since I can't get a black hammer even though I've been trying since it was released, and i know there are plenty of people that are also in my place, atleast half of the people in every normal raid team i get into is missing a black hammer or any other raid weapon and its honestly really disheartening.Don't get me wrong, im not saying you should get every raid weapon in the first week but dont make it ridiculously elusive, what do you guys think? And are you guys missing an raid weapons?

Edit 2: i realize i mispoke when i said that ce raid drops are only a small improvement over the vog drops, its definitely better but it has its own flaws

I'm still missing the chest peice on my titan for VoG lol and I'm a day 1 player lol. Titan was also my 1st class. I've pretty much gave up on it now. I have every exotic the xbone has to offer plus duplicates. But that damn chest peice is rarest thing in the game for me lol

I dnt habe great luck with weapons. Im still hunting for bh and swordbreaker. I had good luck with raid gear which is great

1 ReplyThat's incredibly unfortunate. I looked at your grimoire expecting 15 Crotas end completions (because that's usually how it is with people on this forum) but in your case that is some terrible rng.

I've gotten 3 swordbreaker, 3 song of ir yut, 2 abyss defiant, 2 oversoul edict, 2 word of crota 1 of all the other crota weapons and 0 black hammer

I agree. I feel like trying to get Word Of Crota is going to be like getting Fatebringer for me! Would have been nice to have WOC for the Void burn on weeklies this week.... 1st 29 VOG tries - ZERO FBs Next 3 VOG runs - got 3 FBs! (1 each time) Still no Praetorian Foil, Black Hammer, etc etc etc. Seems like I get lots of exotic (primary) drops, but just cannot get these legendaries.

3 RepliesI think i got twenty completions maybe and got all the gear for all three guardians and all the weapons except crux(dont care).....i got 25vog completions and never seen foil or helmets and boots for titan and hunter. Ce is way easier to get stuff from.

2 RepliesIt's odd, because I know people on my friends list that don't have Fang, or Word. I've dropped 6+ Fangs and have a Word on all 3 characters. I however have never dropped a Hunger of Crota, or the Fusion rifle (I forget it's name) and have had only one Black Hammer. I heard that some weapons only drop on normal, and I only do it on hard now

Seems like you've been getting carried. Edit: sorry missed out the word critical. BTW this doesn't guarantee the drop, just increases the weighting. If you are getting a lot of another weapon then make sure to mix up your style (do less damage on crotas shield to minimise your SoiY chance, and less damage on the ogres to minimise the HoC chances). Edit 2: okok I've had my fun, I just made this up I was bored at work and wanted to make some people mad

I got Black Hammer the first time I went in, and I started at Crota CP. It's random, chill out. I really want Ice Breaker to drop, but that hasn't happened for me yet; and I'm not complaining. I'll just keep playing until I get it.

The whole system is kind of screwy. If only they could find some way to increase your chances by a small amount each week you go that something doesn't drop for you.

I can't get Hunger of Crota. Had everything else in the first few weeks apart from Crux (which dropped 2 weeks ago).

The drops should still be like vog in my opinion. It was far too easy to get everything while in vog it took many attempts to get to 30 and get every weapon I wanted. When I finally got fatebringer, the joy was real.

I'm with you homes. I can't get a hunger of crota to save my life. Have tried raiding on different days then you normally do? I feel like I'll never get a hunger if I keep doing it on Tuesday Wednesday. I try and spread them out to see if I have different luck on different days. Like for instance I work doubles every Saturday. I probably haven't done crota on a Saturday. So I'm wondering if I take a Saturday off and do the raid 3 times will I get something different. The answer is no most likely but I just don't understand situations like this. I know plenty of people that have every raid weapon but can't get a gjally or thunderlord and I've gotten 10+ gjallys and 3 thunderlord.

Yea pretty sure, Bungie was talking about armor. And it is easier to get a full set this go-around.

They said armor would drop more often, which it does, and that primaries would only drop from hard, which they do. What's the issue?

The armor drops are much better. Hasn't taken long to have most pieces for my toons. I've gotten a fair amount of weapons from CE too. Except I have received the fang on each hard run except maybe one. Wish they'd switch that up. Don't care that much to have 3 of them.
