I've experienced the same thing. You are experiencing it the way it was intended... only 3 exotic bounties active at one time and the rest jut taking up space. It was even worse when you could not carry 10 bounties -- I think it was 6 at the time I had 4 -- talk about a lot of trips to orbit and back to the tower and then back again. On the plus side, it's rare to have so many exotic bounties so you'll rarely, if ever, have this happen again. If you abandon an exotic bounty, you'll just have to wait until you get lucky with the RNG seeing fit to give it to you again. My suggestion is to finish off the machine gun bounty first since it's one of the easier ones to do.

I did just that. I got the opportunity to cash in on my missive, and guess what?! Another damned "Super Good Advice" bounty! Yeah! Guess I will be getting rid of it after all! Man does the RNG need some work on this. In no way would I like to do this bounty for the 3rd time. Sigh.
