While I generally disagree with Nerf posts, he has a point. Shotguns are a disease in Crucible, and it's disgustingly boring because of it.

I never used to use shotguns in either PVP or PVE, as I preferred running with an auto rifle and fusion rifle. Most of my kills were from my primary, that is until Bungie decided to nerf stuff. Now I'm forced to run with shotguns to even compete, yet you still won't see me ask for nerfs.

I don't understand what you mean by "white damage" for a start. Also I don't see how you can get head shots with a fusion rifle especially after the last round of weapon balancing was implemented. Plu I didn't have to read your whole post in order to understand that you basically want to nerf stuff. I'm glad you appreciate the free bumps.

Edited by Elitespear: 4/8/2015 11:42:47 AMOf course. White damage as in non precision damage. So in order for a 1 hit kill to be applied it needs to be a precision shot (ie yellow damage). That only applies to crucible as it's been made apparent that bungie can in fact separate pvp damage from pve damage. Also allowing fusion rifles to score precision damage to targets which would give them a use in PVE as at the minute they are hugely outclassed by shotguns and sniper rifles. So if stopping nooby hipfire shotgun/fusion 1 hit kills in crucible while rewarding precision shooting is "nerfing" then yes. I'm asking for a nerf.

Yeah it's tough finding a fusion that can sorta kinda hold its own in the top tier game modes. So far plan C and light of the abyss feel close to what base line fusions should be. Final rest II isn't too bad with some decent perks. They aren't great by any means. But if the burn matches should be sorta useable in nightfall. If special ammo wasn't so scarce.... Currently ice breaker is all I can use and it's getting old. Wouldn't mind so much if they'd make ammo synth have separate cool downs. Like I could pop special and heavy at same time. Even then would be tough to snipe with anything other than ice breaker. Who makes a camping weapon then only supply 12 rounds and hardly let any other special drop?!? Or maybe my characters are glitched. Kinda like my friend never ever has primary ammo while I have way too much...?

Personally I despise fusion rifles but they are a weapon type in the game so they should have a function. At the minute they don't really, if you rock up to crotas end or vog with a fusion people are gonna laugh at you. That shouldn't happen. Doesn't need a dramatic buff in pve like shotguns did but being able to land a critical would make a difference.
