If you have no idea who the enemy was or his race you didn't pay any attention. Also the ending if you again payed attention you would have know cortana was in the ship and bent the light bridge you were standing in around you so you didn't die from the nuke and to say good bye. Halo 4 had the best story imo

Yea but why was it all happening? I had no motivation for continuing as i didn't grab me at all. The villan just didn't feel like he belonged it the halo universe. Also Idk what they did with the lore but they completely lost me

Well let's see it happened because at the end of 3 chief was floating in space and he was awakened by radical convent attacking and then they were pulled into a near by planets gravity well. While on the planet trying to gain communications they accidently released the didact who is a forerunner. They then found other usnc troops that were pulled into the gravity well. After escaping the planet they when to stop the didact from getting the composer and attacking humans with it. Leading to the confrontation at the end with chief setting off a nuke to stop it. Also the lore was there too.

I'll try to play it again and pay attention this time but i just found it so boring compared to the three previous titles

The main focus of the story is chief and cortana. The didact and the forerunners play second fiddle to that. Listen to chief and cortana. Especially like half way through when he's relizing he can't save her. I found chiefs transformation for super solider war machine to a actual person to be great
