Do some research before buying a shit plasma TV, kid.

Edited by RockyTopVol71: 5/7/2015 11:04:18 AMUh, many of us use our TV's for more than just gaming, like TV and movie watching. Plasma destroys LCD for overall display quality. Come on Bungie!! We're not asking for the moon here. Just give us the option to ghost or remove the HUD!

Actually he did so his research. Games don't burn on plasma unless the plasma owner is a dope or a game is so terribly engineered that the developer did not write a code for opacity of transparency for the HUD. In the past, other games have patched a bright stagnant with a transparency patch. But Bungie just ignores the thousands affected hoping that we will go away.

Picture quality is one factor in choosing a good TV. Screen burn-in vulnerability is another. You still didn't do enough research, kid.
-
What about when the HUD burns on your LCD? Trust me it's happening for lcd destiny owners due to how outrageously bad the HUD is engineered. Check the boards. Now you'll also have the HUD burned on your TV, but unfortunately your TV will still have a second rate picture.
-
Actually it is incredibly rare for burn in to occur on lcd tv's. They can suffer from ghosting or image persistence. This problems can often be repaired with programs or other devices.
-
HUD display burned in two of my friends LCD televisions too...
-
That is most likely not burn in but image persistence or ghosting which can most times be easily fixed.
-
To have an issue like this on an lcd which runs very cool and efficient just highlights the flaw of the HUD. What other game does this to an LCD. Probably none. The TV's are not The problem.
-
The thing is running temperature really has nothing to do with it.
-
Exactly. Thank you for bringing this up. I'm so tired of people saying who don't know say it's a plasma issue or turn Down your brightness. Any idea what model TV's they have?

One is a Sony and the other a vizio (probably misspelled that...lol)
