I'm with you brother. The game is a coaster for me as that is its most valuable function right now. No way will I let a stupid game ruin my VT60. That TV will have an amazing picture for years over the fleeting fun of Destiny. Bungie as a company is a disgrace for not even addressing the now thousands of complaints about this same problem. It's now almost April and 10's of thousands of potential DLC purchasing gamers have had to move on to other games that won't damage their plasma screens.

Any game can damage plasma, leave it on a certain channel, say ESPN to long, burns in, plasma was great, but I'd say from a gaming standpoint that it's time to move on.

Most plasma owners know that and take precautions because overall there is not much better in picture quality. What destiny HUD does to a plasma is wreckless game design. No other game does the damage that destiny does and in such a short period of time.

I had a high end plasma, any and all games I played even with color washing very regularly would leave image burn, granted a few of the plasma tvs built were some of the best, but that's only a couple of models, there are many sets that put even the best panel from plasma to shame with no worries of image retention. But that's my opinion and many will argue, mostly guys with zt plasma.
