Meh. He'll land on his feet, the other 2 will follow him out the door and they are HOT property.
Its good to see the BBC finally appears to have grown some balls (though many would say too little too late). Also, IMO Top Gear was getting a little stale, maybe a change of scenery and the chance to reboot would rejuvenate the trio somewhat.
Also, what will be passed off as Top Gear will now wither and die lol 😂

haha, yeah I agree on all accounts. I think the overinflated budget of the later seasons robbed the show of some of its most hilarious content (i.e. "the stinger" on Hammonds Officer Barbie police car, lol); also I was getting irritated with the excessive ford and jag advertising which BBC was pushing hard. Still, its my favourite show on TV and it is now no-more. I cant help wondering what horrible group they will choose as replacements... the Kardashians maybe? *shudder* Something tells me Hammond and Msy would be up for a new motoring show, but based on some Clarkson comments lately (Im a dinosaur) I wonder what he will decide...

Maybe Jezza wants to do something more documentary-like? Or maybe tone down the epic journeys they were doing as specials? Those had to be taking a toll. All I know is that there will be an unholy bidding war to land those 3 now. Wouldnt surprise me if Sky get involved.

Edited by WileEWolf: 3/25/2015 6:17:07 PMI think I read somewhere that Sky had an open offer for them that has been on the table for a long while now; but a more recent article indicates that Sky is firmly not interested. Heres an interesting article on ITV, Netflix and Sky relating to the Top Gear trio: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-03-25/sky-rules-out-hiring-jeremy-clarkson
