Crota after HoW drops...
So, I was thinking.... Once we can level beyond 32 crota will become seemingly easier and easier to defeat making this raid really feel like a strike.
I really feel like Bungie should put a limit on the light level armor you can wear in the crotas end raid. To maintain the integrity of this raid we shouldn't be able to carry any light level above 32.
Now, I know what you are thinking... They didn't do that with the VoG. This is true, but the teleportation part of it adds a dynamic to that raid where you can still die despite being three levels higher. If we were even one level higher than crota this raid would be to easy, imo. It is already pretty easy even on hard, but remains fun. Not sure it would if we leveled well past 33.
What is everyone's thoughts on this?

That's because they didn't use mechanics for difficulty they just made us weaker than the enemy... So no, this raid is already a strike. People run it in less time than they take to finish valus's nightfall

We can already do this raid in 20 min or less so it won't matter we hat they change, most will probable skip it once how drops. All I need is 1 more crux for my 3rd necro and I'm not even trying to get it at this point.

Unsure, but wouldn't the sword do more damage against Crota Hard when we are a higher level? If so, then crota hard would go down just as easy as crota normal.

3 RepliesYour damage doesn't go beyond the level of the raid. Sure when everyone can be 33 then yes Crota will be easier because we won't have the level disadvantage anymore. But anything past 33 won't matter, you won't do any more damage. In the VoG for example, a 31 won't do more damage than a 30. Same goes for 32.

You lost me at "integrity of this raid"...crota is the glitchiest, easiest P.O.S. activity on this game

I think they'll leave it but add in where you can put modifiers on the Raid like lightswitch or juggler. It will be too easy especially VoG you'll be able to walk through it when you're 34 light lol
