I have given up trying to get the Ghorn - accepted that the gun is well beyond my reach. RNGesus does not favor me, as can be seen by the fact that I do everything above you stated every week, and get no love whatsoever.
All I want now is a Mask of the Third Man. And I will patiently wait for Xur to sell it again, because chances are the NF's will just give me more of that useless Arachnid helm....

Thats how i got my ghorn i juat said F it and i gave up but one day i did deathsingers and i got it and i didnt even know i had it for like a day till i went to change my heavy weapons and there it was lol.

I got the mask from one of his engrams. Just got my hunter to 20 and waiting to level it up.

I spent enough for 5 helmet engrams from Xur a few weeks back - got two arachnid helms, an Obsidian mind and the two titan helms. It is more difficult now to acquire the original title exotic gear, as their chances of dropping get watered down the more items are added into the loot table.
