I think it would be better to have a choice between which faction items give you faction rep. Like the ability to set their banner as your tie to their faction or the Chest plate or something like that. So everyone can still see who you ally yourself with but you can customize your look more

But would you then have to have their armor equipped if you chose their armor? Or do you mean it would add a symbol on the chest plate (or legs or where ever) like the edit I made except with all armor instead of just class items?

Yea, so you set your chest piece and it gets a decal on it... Oh... They should just sell symbols that you then put on your armour... That's how I should have said that
