Because there are some who have done countless nightfalls to obtain the armor piece, just for xur to sell it for such a small price. Kinda like that guy said in response to Deej in one of the recent posts, that coins are devalued because xur sells his wares for such a low price. I mean, I did buy Praxic on Friday because I'm one of the many unlucky people to not have gotten it from my constant nightfalls and legendary engrams, but I don't care. If it cost a bit more it would make more sense. Whatever though. And congrats to those who got what they've been chasing after for such a long time.

Coins are considered "devalued" for the people who have been running strikes 3x a week nonstop and don't spend them on anything. I've been playing a couple nights a week for a couple months and spend plenty of my coins every week because I'm not anywhere near having everything. So prices should go up because a bunch of players have a shitload of them? That's retarded, not everyone is up to 700+ hours played, why should the game cater only to the hardcore players? Take a break, get a job, and if you already have one, get another one, lol, and leave the damn system alone.

Edited by Sxnity: 2/28/2015 3:26:11 AMYou're acting like it's actually hard to get coins. You can get enough coins for an item Xur could sell literally in like an hour. I'm not undermining those who don't dedicate more time to the game, I'm simply saying if it was a little bit more challenging, the game could perhaps have a little more sense in the time we spend on it. We do the same shit everyday, so at least making it more difficult to obtain some armor/weapons could make the grind that much more rewarding. If I said I don't buy from Xur, I'd be an idiot and a hypocrite. For example, I've been trying to get Praxic since the release, and I got my first one from Xur today. I don't care at all because if it makes people have more fun then I'm all for it; however , budgeting your coins so that you can't buy 50 items with such small amount of effort and in such less time would make the game have a point again (to an extent). This game was designed for grinding, so if someone isn't willing to put in the work to get something, then they're playing the wrong game. I respect your opinion though, and have a good day/night wherever you are.

Nope I didn't say it was hard at all, earning coins is actually very easy. If you're suggesting the activities to earn coins should be more difficult, that would be sound reasoning and definitely something to consider. But to simply raise the amount of coins needed and just require people to play longer to earn the same shit, that's just not a good solution.
