I have an apple phone, laptop, TV, tablet, and soon to watch. I'll just go away now...

If you buy the watch your -blam!-ing retarded! You're phone is in your God dam pocket!! Are we really that lazy that taking you're phone out has become a hassle?!?
-
It is more acceptable in a business environment to quickly glance at your watch than to take your phone out of your pocket in the middle of a meeting.

I heard apple is trying to make an electric car by the year 2020... there's no escape
-
I'd buy it.
-
For your sake, I hope it doesn't use Apples GPS!
-
I drove from Michigan to Texas and from Michigan to Florida using my iPhone with no issues.

That makes you a fanboy, not the majority
-
Tragically, I think he is the majority

Just wait until the watch comes out. 5 years from that day 70% of the population will have smart watches. Apple may not be ahead of the game, but they set the bar.

Edited by fraggedurmaker: 2/26/2015 8:40:01 PMBy set the bar you mean design iOS 6 to look and feel like Windows Phone 8? Or by copying Nokia with multiple color phones with the iPhone 5? Or how about making the iPhone 6 larger because "nobody wants a big iPhone"? Or how about that the iCloud is using Amazon and Microsoft Azure technology. Apple hasn't had an original idea since Jobs died. And that's the sad truth.

I completely agree with no innovation since Jobs death, but that just puts even more pressure on the watch release. Should be interesting to see what the fallout is. When it comes down to it, I can pick up a 2 year old iPhone for .99 every 2 years that can still compete with the iphone currently in the market for $500. Just because the sheep want whatever is new doesn't mean the informed consumer can't take advantage of the situation.

Once Apple starts using proprietary tech again, maybe I'll pay attention.
