Also, you should tell him to buy the expansion pass not the DLC, then he'll get it for a cheaper price and pretty soon I think they might give special stuff to those who have the expansion pass just like they did before the Dark Below

I'll tell him about the expansion but I don't think it'll work since I told him like everything there is to know about the dark below and he won't listen so hopefully I'll show him this and if this doesn't work I'll have to eventually give him money to buy it

Tell him that he won't be able to even think about becoming a MLG PRO in Destiny until he gets the dlc. Besides, it's much more enjoyable than grinding previous missions.
