Cheesing is when you exploit the game mechanics in a PvE environment to make a section, enemy, boss, etc., easier to beat. Cheating is when you do hack, mod, or somehow give yourself crazy parameters (unlimited health, ammo, instant kill shots, instead levep/rank up, etc.).
