I think all of you have left out a very important detail. He is a tower 31. I on the other hand am a crota 31 all I need is the chest piece and some more shards and I am 32.

What is that going to prove? You still have no weapon classes maxed.

Explain what you mean by weapon classes?

If you go click on your grimoire, go to inventory, then select a weapon class; primary, secondary, or heavy, and then select a weapon type, you will see how many kills you have with each. When you max one, the three rings at the bottom will be filled. Check mine if you would like an example. Grimoire can be found above my guardians.
