Just did VoG for the first time
It was incredible. Undoubtedly the most fun and intense thing I have done yet in this game. I know I sound like a noob, but i don't even care because I had so much fun doing the raid.
Not to mention I found Light of the Great Prism, Kabr's Wrath, and the Chatterwhite shader so I'm pretty happy for my Titan
EDIT: wow I can't believe all of the positivity in the comments. I definitely believe the forums need more awesome commenters like you guys. Eyes up, Guardians.
EDIT 2: 400+ comments!!! I'm so glad my little Vault adventure has sparked such a great response from the community. I absolutely love it when I see people who care on these forums. I love hearing your first VoG experiences, so keep on sharing your stories, Guardians!!!

7 RepliesCongrats man! Me and a few others just took 2 noobs through on normal and they did very well! I think we only wiped one time before the Templar. Was really fun helping them through. I used to hate vog, until crota came out.

Congrats! I did the VOG for the first time last night as well. I was picked up by a group in the tower, told them I was a 1st timer, and they were awesome. Very helpful and patient. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We did really well until the last section with Atheon. After a few wipes, we got'r done. I held my own on kills and oracles thankfully. Got chatterwhite and Atheon's Epilogue.

I just finished my first Vog two nights ago as well, and I turned 31 just as the fight with atheon was beginning XD I'd done most of the parts individually before, done templar quite a bit, but I'dnever made it to the final fight (my schedule/time constraints). Congrats on finishing the raid! There's nothing quite like the celebration at the end. Rockets and supers everywhere.

Try the next raids without knowing anything and others in the same boat. MUCH more fun imo.

Congrats man. Vault of Glass is awesome. Glad you got to experience it! I'm always down for a quick run if you're on PS4. PSN Landin536. 32 Hunter but I usually play as a 30 for Vault of Glass.

2 RepliesFirst time my group and i rand vog on normal (the first week it came out) and took us over 6 hours to beat the whole thing. Now i get a group of randoms and we go from start to finish in under an hour. Vog is def funner and requires more teamwork then crota

I felt like this in my first run but I got really lucky as I got the arm piece found verdict and vision of confluence in my first vog and since I got corrective measure Hezens vengeance and a load horse dump

So he has the checkpoint and would really like to complete it tonight. We'll be on at around 9pm gmt. If any of you kind vog veterans would like to lend an experienced hand, it would be very much appreciated. My gt is TheHunger82 and my friends is AbsoluteMacbeth. This is for XBox One.

My first vog run was beast!! I got a red death, my first exotic.

My first Vault run was probably the most fun I've had with the game, although other sections come close ( I do like Crota's end a lot as well). Just going through that first run I got VoC, Praedyth's Revenge, the chest, and the gloves. Seeing Atheon dissolve for the first time was pretty epic.

3 RepliesJust got my Icebreaker and I almost will have my Devil you know maxed out and I just got to level 30! I'll be raiding too! Hopefully the Mythoclast isn't too far off for myself :)
