Bit daft as you can just run a circuit of the area and sweep up a lot more enemies for minimal more effort (and occasionally have some fun/run into the public event). I run the Fallen leaders bounty there for that reason. As other have pointed out, there are also less time consuming ways to get a better shot at decent gear.
