With every character made
Having to wait for RNG is just too much!
Sometimes i do laugh though when people say
I HAVE 650 hours played!! Like thats a long time ..
That was like my first 8 weeks of wow.
I might have put more than 650 hours on one raid trying to get tier sets..
I honestly think if some people played a mmorpg they may jump from a tall building

haha, I love you kids and your tales of the trials and tribulations of WoW. Imagine having to wait for 1 particular mob to spawn in order to get a certain weapon (that is a requirement, not player, but game - in order to enter an area for a raid) and that mob is just completely random. Randomness to the point of yours and 12 other guilds have someone camped out in their spawn area 24 hours a day, with the rest of the guild (because the mob is a raid level mob by itself) on speed dial (before mass texting) to drop everything and get on there. Then think a bit more about this going on for 2-3 WEEKS before it spawns. And then 10 minutes after you down the mob, it spawns again, and then it's gone for another week, maybe 2. Now think that you have a raid that needs 128 players to finish, and you must have 1 character of every class with a weapon like this in order to open the raid. WoW has nothing on Everquest. Not. A. Thing.

I had a dark elf cleric had my tranquility and defiant sets . I think eq was bad before they stopped the camping and griefing But as far as raids and quests Most could be soloed and as far as difficulty It was nowhere close Even early raids like 40 man naxx Or molten core Where eye was a 3% drop rate but between 40 people So chances of getting it were like winning the lottery

I started with a Human warrior, reached max level of 50. Then Kunark expansion came out (long before set armors were ever introduced) so I created an Iksar Necro -which is the one I stuck with. Raided Plane of Nature, 128 man raid. Not soloable until level cap reached level 90. Sleeper was a 64 man raid - with consequences. Much, much harder than anything on Ultima or AC. But, to each his own.

Yeah the time i spent in black temple doing illidan and the counsel waiting for my tier set piece i think it was shoulder mantle Was ridiculous Also sunwell because if one person died dude enrages and wipes everyone. Took forever to beat
