Like the title says. I currently have this weapon equipped on my 31 Warlock. My purchase history on xbl is attached above. Im a cheap bastard and haven't bought anything on xbl since last April. Questions anyone? [b][u]Some notes on myself:[/u][/b] Played the Beta Once spent an hour at the loot cave Routinely beat Atheon legit since before Bungie 'fixed' the teleport. Found the in-game push for The Dark Below to be desperate and laughable. Recently hit level 4 with Eris and got her special title card thing. Have yet to create a Titan [b][u]How'd I get this weapon?[/u][/b] I was playing a normal activity and at the end it dropped in the rewards table. I can equip it. It gains XP. I've damn near finished leveling the sucker. *shrug* This has nothing to do with Xur's offerings. There was no hacking, glitching, etc involved. Though certainly its one HELL of a bug. [b][u]Why post this?[/u][/b] An informed consumer is a better consumer. The Dark Below was billed as an expansion pack. Resoundingly the community has noted the content isn't there to warrant calling it that. So its DLC. However, given I was able to be rewarded this weapon without having said DLC, The Dark below is apparently really just a really expensive unlock key. Noice. There is the possibility that this DLC was given to everyone as part of the mandatory updates, but that still puts people in the position of paying for an unlock code to content not only already given to them, but content they cant play the game without. Again, noice. P.S. I cant say Im terribly surprised something like this has happened. Given how inconsistent the DLC Wall is for Destiny (the only consistency is employing it anywhere it can be used to pressure you to buy) something like this was bound to happen. Im already sitting on 3-4 Husks of the Pit that only have use with DLC restricted elements, so why the hell not a No Land Beyond?
