Well like you said, grinding, luck, and playing. The weekly on 30 isn't that hard. That's 9 X 3 for my 3 characters = 27. I think earning it from a raid or actually beating something (nightfall) is way more challenging than just gathering strange coins. Although those can be one and the same.
