Nightfall in destiny... What a lovely Tuesday event. The hope that you get a beloved exotic or something good is so tantalizing & real you can taste it. I run though one, zero deaths, my team and I mop the floor with Rockets Mcdickface & his fellow sniper(esque) gatling-gun wielders. What do I get, oh yes a legendary void fusion rifle (my third of that same one to be exact) Ok bad luck, maybe I'll get a better second run... Boom once more through, Mcdick gone, gat-snipes gone... Hooray a -blam!-ING LEGENDARY ENGRAM THAT TURNS TO A SINGLE TUBE ROCKET. I don't have three characters so I almost hurl my controller through the TV due to frustration with the one they call RNGsus.. He screws me yet again. I then run Crota twice in a row to see if my odds get better. (Sharts & energy first chest) Crota kill gives me ANOTHER FUSION RIFLE (second) & ANOTHER SHOTGUN (second) with 2 energy & two sharts as an added "bonus" So yes I am pissed & I was at the point where I simply put my controller down and headed to bed at a sensible hour. I woke up this morning thinking of all the other things I could do with that hour or two (let's be honest 3-4hrs) each evening & have come to the conclusion I am done with destiny. Everyone else have fun with a game that screws you for being decent/good (in PvP or PvE) and has zero reward or incentive (besides some -blam!-ing carrot called a ricemaker or flatulenthorn) Peace RNGsus, it was fun but I'll go play some PONG before I play another "random" drop game again.. To damn frustrating TL;DR: RNG sucks & I will not be held captive to its maniacal addictiveness any longer. Also I don't care if you won't miss me, just posting hoping others can see the way out before they break their TV...
