correct me if I'm wrong but... (lore question)
I vaguely remember halo and Rasputin having some correlation with eachother, something to do with intergalactic death beams blah blah blah, am I crazy or did we really have reference to Rasputin back in halo??

Likely, my recent thought is Destiny takes place in ancient halo times, around the first rise, and subsequent fall of humanity to the forerunner
