I've put most of my time on Destiny into the Crucible. I've had lots of fun but I've been thinking, could it be better? I know the servers could be more stable, better matching and so on but I mean in terms of rewards. Not just item rewards, like a shiny new exotics or legendaries or whatever your searching for. I mean, can I experience as much, enjoy the game and all the benefits for putting time into it as someone who plays strikes every day or does the raid over and over. I understand that raids, strikes, etc are a big part of the game and I do enjoy them but I feel as if Crucible should be a bigger part as well. My cousin loves strike and raids because you can research them, practice them, get better at them and excel. I really enjoy the Crucible because I am able to test my skill against others, think on my feet, react to the unexpected. We are both doing what we enjoy most but I feel as though he experiences more benefits than I. I do keep in mind that he has invested much more time into the game and that may skew my observations but even he has told me that I should do more strikes than Crucible matches because it is more rewarding. Now I could be completely wrong but it seems to me that Destiny, especially in the Crucible, has lots of room for expansion. I'm sure Bungie has lots of plans for the future but I am just saying what I think here and now. Destiny has a unique opportunity to create and be renown for two distinct yet intertwined communities. There can be famous raid teams but also elite fireteams that have proved themselves in the Crucible. Bungie has proven to be very capable in the past and I'm hopeful for the future. For now I would like to hear your opinions on the balance between Crucible and its benefits to the rest of the game. Do you feel like you should get more for the time you put into the Crucible? Should the Crucible remain as a smaller part of Destiny's offering? Do you disagree and think that it is the perfect amount of the experience? Please share your opinions.
