I have the same issues, for me it the people I play with, I play with a couple of people from beijing (where I live) and a couple from Australia (not much time difference) when I am with the Australians I have a read connection. They make me fire team leader, or the other way I make them, and it's all good. Still red bar but a lot less lag. It's because of your ping with the servers that that game is based of, for me with the People in beijing we all have a similar ping and it picks the server closest to us, but with the Australians then the servers location is supposedly much further away causing lag and sometimes a kick. So in conclusion, play around with the fire team leader to reduce lag. Play with people closer to where you live.
