If you haven't read this, please do. This is why so many people are so upset. Bungievision used this technique and then destroyed it with the reset. All the addicted high-level players felt it, and then realized this is what they're doing.

This game is like a "freemium" game for phones. It's fun, but not too fun and you can only do so much each day. Right as you feel you are ready to leave, you get that reward that sucks you right back in. Bungie nailed it with getting that small percent who are gaming addicts to have an in breakable bond to destiny. Watch the South Park episode from the latest season. It's exactly like what I see going in with this game.
