That doesn't really help those who enjoyed farming and buying stuff with materials. Now I have thousands of stacks of material that I just delete since I have no space for all of it and cannot buy stuff with it. If material is so hard to acquire and doing so is hated by the majority, it would then seem those who do spend time doing a task no one else wants to and prefer to spend marks to buy it, why not let us sell those precious materials for marks? That is the logical answer for a living economy, just hacking and slashing stuff is stupid. I guess I expected more but the nerfs they have been doing with weapons to help level PvP but hurt PvE makes sense doing this action. No thought process in changing a Day 1 feature or item on what a change will solve and what it will break. Maybe WhiteBoarding changes isn't something Bungie has heard of. Most jobs, including mine, that plan to implement a change all known aspects are discussed. Any negative impact "for the greater good" would be analyzed and those who would be impacted negatively an alternative solution would be developed or a detailed explain action would be done to show how it benefits them. I guess using the BanHammer must be used in changing core game items too. Who cares if you take out those who just were too close. Should call it droning since that is a better match with their results.
