I wanted to get some insight as to why a lot of us who have many negative associations with this game still keep playing it? For me I was playing DC Universe Online for the past 2+ years straight, and was burnt out on SOE's Skinner Box / manipulative / lackluster / Same crap, different DLC efforts. I tried Destiny out and have now cancelled my subscription to DCUO. Destiny is the only MMO I play now. I enjoy playing with my clanmates, who I've been gaming with for a while, and I dig the Borderland / Diablo loot elements. While there are a lot of elements I find frustrating, and I can shake my fist at... I understand that MMOs are unique, and because of their ongoing nature, they are constantly evolving. Compared to DCUO, Destiny has done an amazing job of addressing issues overall, let alone in a reasonable timeframe. So while I can always find something to complain about, at the end of the day I enjoy the game for what it is. A game. How about you?
