Raid Queue. Bungie pls.

I understand that the proposal itself sort of goes against the grain in that the Vault of Glass and other raids are meant to be a difficult adventure for a group of friends to conquer, but let's be honest here. There's not an in-game method of mass communication with other players and - short of awkwardly sending messages to random people you're grouped with or see in the world - there is no means for people who either only have one or two friends that play or none at all, to engage in content beyond the weekly strikes and the crucible. It feels like an unnecessary limitation on a reasonably large population of Destiny, and a much more optimistic expectation by Bungie on the number of people that would all be friends on the same platform and play together. I realize that there are also third party sites and applications that allow you to find groups and the Bungie forums where you could try to find people interested in running raids, but for casual players without a lot of time to dedicate to sitting down and grouping up, and then the time it takes to actually complete the content, it makes part of the game content almost inaccessible. tl;dr People who don't have enough friends on their console's respective network to form a full raid or casual players who don't have the time to dedicate to finding a group and running the content shouldn't be punished by making part of the content almost inaccessible.
