Here's an idea. Now that we can not trade in material for marks which is an obvious attempt to stop people ranking up without playing PvP or PvE bounties we need to do something with material that some of us now have stored. Why can we not exchange items for things like Strange Coins, Shards, Synthesis or at the cryptarch. It's a simple idea - 200 for synthesis 400 for a shard (either). 600 for a strange coin It doesn't take long to get that much. Farming during bounties, opening loots chests, daily / weekly / nightfall, and strikes can all rank it up quickly. Anyone else with ideas, feel free to add. Come on Bungie, make us want to run around the edge of the maps looking for stuff to give greater longevity in the game. Make us play the patrol more to help in ranking armour and weapons up. There is various moaning threads but not many with ideas.
