In this case you're talking about a very special circumstance. While you and your friend may know what's up, the 3rd match made individual may not. Very tough and case-specific scenario. My 2 centavos: if you have to idle for some reason just back out of match making. If you're completely going idle and letting your friend work the strike so you can be safe I'd say you're doing it wrong. You have a friend on the strike. If you die, just back out and rejoin.
