Thus my post. Your logic is sound. It just doesn't match up to the entire community. Right now, roughly 1/3 of the readers take their time. That's a pretty large percentage (proper sampling aside). Some people just can't be persuaded to do something any other way. It's just WHO they are. Well, the effort it would take to argue and debate with that individual wouldn't be worth the time to convince them. It's arbitrary at the end of the day. At least now, the community is able to understand that there is a legitimate wall between these 2 play styles. Basically: Identify, adapt, overcome, or quit and do it with friends that play like you.
