2 questions. Shadow Price legendary vs Suros exotic.

The devil you know legendary vs The last word exotic?
I know it seems like a dumb question. Is it even possible for a legendary to be "better" than an exotic?
I was on the page that exotic is better. Now I'm hearing people say they think the devil you know is better than the last word.
How can that be when the last word is exotic, fires rapidly in full auto. Has the perfect balance stability perk, fires from hip and spins around your finger all cool.
I looked at the perks for the devil you know sold by the vanguard quarter master and to me it just looked junky...what are your thoughts on that?
Also I still don't have an auto rifle yet. Should I get suros or shadow price?
Same thing, both look great to me but some people are saying shadow is better...can that even be true? If suros is exotic doesn't that make it better?
Or is it that the people with the devil you know and shadow price are just jelly about the exotics they don't have and don't understand. So they are just talking up their weak weapons?
If anyone has both autos, which do you like better? And why?

Have both fully upgraded and shadow price is so similar to SUROS it isn't worth the exotic slot, plus shadow looks better than regime.

I still prefer Suros over Shadow price. Maxed out stability and the slower but more damage causing rate of fire give me better aim and a better chance of killing people.

Having both weapons, I still prefer Suros (bought from Xur) by a slight advantage. The heal on damage perk is very nice to have. The near death extra ammo from Shadow price (bought from Vmarks) is good as well. But not as comfortable as Suros's perk. The Devil you know is a great legendary handcanon. The Last word I do not have at the moment. But I do have Hawkmoon (PS exclusive) and I would favor that one over both. The 3 bullets that do more damage in each clip do heavy damage. I just love this weapon (got it during IronBanner).

Suros is a beast, plus it heals you, shadow price is awesome as well, I reccomend getting both, for when you want to equip something like ice breaker. TDYK vs TLW isn't a real comparison, no hand cannon compares to TLW, the last word is litterally the auto rifle of handcannons, its mean to be used at close to medium range as a hip fire. Now, the question is thorn or TDYK, I like thorn, really do, but the TDYK has twice the clip and reloads faster, its a great weapon, I have all three handcannons on my warlock, and I rotate between them based on what I feel like that day, do I want to use an exotic in a different slot, do I feel like playing like a cowboy, or do I want to pop heads and poison people! Despite the smaller clip and slow reload, thorn is still a beast in PVP, that extra dot damage gets you a lot of kills you might not otherwise.

2 RespuestasSUROS is definitely good, but Shadow Price takes the cake. Although I prefer SUROS, I could swap it if the situation calls for it. As for TDYK v The Last Word, it's no contest. You'll win 90% of your close range firefights with The Last Word. TDYK is good, but there's nothing like a full auto western classic. That black and gold finish ain't bad either.
