I know this has been hashed out plenty, but really give it some thought here. There are plenty of counters against the SUROS. It doesn't take a genius level intellect to figure out how to beat someone who has a slow firing autorifle. I think the REAL problem here is people don't like the fact that it has health return and a heavier hitting second half clip. That, and it's much more effective at longer distances than other rifles of it's same class due to the slower fire rate. DPS wise, however, it's really not that great of a weapon compared to many other exotic weapons, and it's certainly not a weapon you can use when facing shotgunners on CQB maps. Now, I'm no Suros apologist. Far from it. I've been killed by that particular gun more than any other exotic weapon, however I don't think it's because of it's "OPness". I believe it's just simply widely owned and widely used. What do you think? Is it a clutch weapon in certain situations, or is it simply a crutch for the skillfully handicapped?
