Hey guys, earlier today, I just had an idea that popped into my head and thought it would be amazing if Destiny could have such a feature implemented. The idea is called "Public Perma-Events" or Global Events is what I like to call them. So, we all know what Public Events are and what they do (they come in at certain times at specific places and gives out rewards, and etc...). However, this one's different. It's on a much grander scale than your typical Public Event. You can think about this as a Raid-Tier public event in a way, but here's how it work: －Global Events will only take place once a month (like Weekly Events, but time can vary). －Global Events will include the entire community (platforms vary) to participate into a global ranking to reach a certain goal. －Global Events are events that can affect the game's experience by adding new add-ons to the game, like new vendors in the Tower or enemies drop more engrams (all for a limited time), and etc... －A Global Event is a separate mission/playllist, therefor you cannot go into a Patrol Mission to participate. (this can vary) 　[u]Example:[/u] A [new] vendor has crash landed on Earth and is under attack by the Fallen. A Perma-Event will then become active to all players where they can participate in by killing The Fallen within the "Crash Site". The event will only last for one week/month (time will vary), and if the community can successfully kill x number of The Fallen before time's end, that vendor is then added as a new vendor in the Tower (for a limited time). However, if they are to fail, the vendor will not be available in the Tower and will have to wait until the next opportunity. There are many ways this kind of idea can go to, but I just hope you get the concept of it. This sort of thing is what I would like to see in Destiny, and I believe that it'll make Destiny even more alive. I could go on and on, but I'd thought I just talk about the concept to it.
