I'm reposting a reply in the body for the link to the ToS regarding deletion of a character so it is easier to find: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211 If this game is meant to have a 10 year longevity, then the support model and attention to game economy will need to improve drastically. The whole experience here has forced me to reflect on how I would feel had this event happened to me 2 or 4 years from now with a character. Vastly different from rebuilding a character only a few weeks old. This should not be acceptable to any player, or Bungie for that matter, and I will now be fully as fickle as the game and current support model strive to be. Mods can please close this thread should they ever get around to it.
