To Deej, Iron Banner should have 3-4 Tiers. Tier 1 (Lvl 1-10), T2 (10-20), T3 (20-30), T4 (All levels). People were expecting a T4 with the ability to to one shot lower levels. What we got was a "cap" on our so called "uncap". I realize this was done as a game balancing issue so anyone could participate in the Iron Banner pvp. However, what we got instead was a lackluster event, which felt overbalanced to everyone else. I have played my level 29 and a level 2 in the Iron Banner. The reality is, both events feel uninspired. The rewards for the Iron Banner can only be broken down into their most basic component. Which I understand to a degree, you want me to work hard for ascendant shards or energy. However, I wouldn't be be breaking down items if I already had them. After my seventh Timur's Lash, and still praying for the Birth of History, I question, why? Why am I "farming" out the Iron Banner for kills. My guns that I want to use are max level that I want to use for the event, so is my armor. Not getting any XP. I'm rank 3 with the crucible, I maxed out my marks. I don't care about my PvP stats. Why continue? ...Because that ship is so awesome. But, honestly I'm doubting its worth. It's just something pretty for a loading screen. Bragging rights. I understand the loot table is RNG. However, add in a check list. Has the player earned the same gun over seven times...maybe we can dip into the other rewards. Do what you want Bungie...but your loosing your fun/hope value by excluding your dedicated players and rewarding random-ness (is that a word?). If you did a Tiered system, people could still have fun in the event. And have expectations met on levels and damage, if you uncapped the cap. I hope the next event is better...I might participate if it is. But if you guys do a rank reset for events...that would be a very, very poor choice. IMO. (Sorry if that came out, very poorly worded. I no lifed Iron Banner for the Birth of History and still have not gotten it. Need sleep)
