I agree with you accept I don't kill the low levels outside of the restricted spawn. As you pointed out the drop rate seems to be a lot higher inside the restricted spawn. Plus the enemies outside just keep coming. You could be out there all day. Once inside restricted spawn however make everything that moves stop moving!
