A friend and I, one of which you guys are already reading, came up with the idea to go back and forth on some of the Lore, or even things we felt could've used some detail or flavor. Since the game is a little dry right now, no offense to you, Bungie, we figured we'd write our own. I wrote a little piece about something I've wondered on my own. Our Guardians are relatively quiet, we've no sense of who or what they really were before or even during the collapse. I took some liberties to make the assumption of what the Darkness' main force would be during the initial attack/invasion. I went with the Fallen, since the Hive were stopped/left at the Moon. The Cabal or Vex never seemed to show much interest in Earth up until where we begin in the game, so I figured those two were out aswell. The Fallen, I feel, would've likely been the primary force, represented by how many of the Fallen still reside on Earth even after the collapse, to harass and steal from humanity. I feel I went a bit light on the detail, and in a way, the way I wrote it, I think it may come off as a little hard to read. I went a little light on detailing on purpose, because what I'm trying to show are "flashes" of his past memories, which I think would focus on the core of the situation rather than all the small details.
