... and exit into Patrol if it's appropriate. So you can still choose missions from Orbit but don't have to do it there unless you want to switch planets. You free roam in patrol, you go to (or even possibly find) an objective marker / mission marker for a story mission and can choose to activate the mission. And when it's appropriate (like no cutscene etc) the end of the mission will put you back into patrol. No Orbit. No loading screen. Old idea, I know, but still very relevant...
