before any trolls quip and retort.. ive seen youtube videos of this thing in action... i know its purpose... for the devs.... i am on the digital ghost edition.. ps3. got the RC a couple days ago from a cryptarch gift.. as per the description.. hated it at first..... but curiosity kept me pumping exp into it.... now i have the key "remote control" ability unlocked.. paid for... and ready to go.... but wait.. theres a problem. while aiming down the guns scope. it still only has a 10 foot damage range if that. the 3-4x damage multiplier for precision damage seems to be applying.. but the range modifier is NOT. spent all day double shot gunning.. comparing.. the RC to the secondaries... the secondaries ALL have more lethal range.. tried firing patterns at the wall.. again.. the RC doesent have that feared snipe pattern.. went to the vex and fired on stationary hydras... to know my range isent changing.. again. secondaries have more range. watched youtube videos of the guns ability in use... sorry to say that even aiming down the scope.. 12 feet or more.. the RC registers NO damage.. period. i have the 2 selectable options that boost the guns range. which brings it mostly on par with other shotguns range... but again no where NEAR the "sniper" ranges the videos show. thought it might be based on the item you have in your secondary.. and am no running a RC/sniper combo.. still no change. either im doing something HUGELY wrong.. or the ps3 version of this gun is borked. needs fixing. i do have confirmation from a friend it works fine on ps4... but not found anyone else on ps3 that has it to see if they are having the same issue.
