As a gamer ... I think exclusivity is some bullshit that platform companies use to sell more systems, and that publishers use to make more money when sales aren't guaranteed. Nothing about exclusivity is good for any gamer, regardless of platform. The current culture of multiple-DLC's and game-altering pre-order bonuses is toxic for the industry as a platform for creative artists. If the people making games start to get disillusioned with the process, then it's us, the gamers, who will suffer. Fight exclusivity by not giving in to it.

People can only criticise destiny when they play the beta and/or the final release. Otherwise any moaning is simply... moaning with no basis.

This is the best part of Bungie day or any Destiny announcement. It's been boring for weeks and now we got us a Mardi Gra of entitlement and tears. It'll pass on the 27th. Then the real crying will start.

Exactly. I preorderd the game simply to have it on hold. I enjoy the work put out by Bungie, and as such I feel happy to support them in their endeavors. I actually preorderd for the poster, not for the beta. The beta is just an additional perk. I would've been happy with a two hour demo. I don't care how long the beta lasts, or that PS gets it early and therefore for a longer time. I just want to play Destiny when it comes out.
