Just because she's transgender doesn't excuse her or give her the right to be an asshole to everyone and not expect to get treated the same.

It's not really an enlightened way to think, believing that because someone has been mean, that you can therefore be justified in throwing as much hate as you want right back at them. And you're right, being trans doesn't allocate you special privileges, and that's not my point here. My point is simply to make an effort to be decent, even to people you dislike.
